History
The origins of Chteau d’Esclans can be traced back to the times of the Gauls and today the maison produces some of the world’s best-loved Provence AOC ros wines.
Regional Information
Whispering Angel is made from grapes sourced from amongst the most choice vineyards in the vicinity of the Esclans Valley and nearby in the Cotes de Provence region. These grapes come from 10 to 12-year-old vines, situated in clay and gravel soils at a lower elevation in the vineyards.

Vinification Details
The grapes are de-stemmed and lightly crushed at a low temperature to avoid oxidation. Stainless-steel vinification helps to preserve the wine’s fruitiness, while btonnage – the process of stirring up the lees – adds body.
